Lets Knit Readers

Let’s Knit is one of my favourite magazines. As a new feature for the Bulldog Krafts website I will knit up a project each month.  Photographs courtesy of John McLoughlin (www.johnmcloughlin.co.uk)

October 2011

This month Carolyn has been working on new patterns – one of which will appear very soon. So there are no knits from current issue. However we do have a lovely new scarf kit including a circular needle and Angora Class (20% angora, 80% extrafine merino). The kit is a lovely gift, even for novices, or you can use it yourself to create a scarf!

Scarf Knitting Kit with Angora/wool blend:

50g Kit

This kit contains:

  • 1 x 50g Angora Class wool (20% Angora/80% Merino Wool)
  • 1 x circular 6mm bamboo knitting needle
  • scarf patterns.  The patterns included range from very basic (garter stitch) to moderate (feather and fan, fisherman’s rib).

There is enough yarn to knit one scarf approx 4 by 50 inches in either of the two patterns included.

100g Kit

This kit contains:

  • 2 x 50g Angora Class wool (20% Angora/80% Merino Wool)
  • 1 x circular 6mm bamboo knitting needle
  • scarf patterns.  The patterns included range from very basic (garter stitch) to moderate (feather and fan, fisherman’s rib).

There is enough yarn to knit 1 or 2 scarves. The patterns are set out to give a few options.
